Official synopsis
In the gardens of La Villette, Cléo, 3, plays with her twin brother Paul. She wanders off and gets lost. And then it's Paul's turn to be alone. A light and joyful film, “Allons enfants” feels like an improvised stroll and reveals the grace of Paris. How are both children going to experience those few “truant” hours?

Known for his scenarios drawn in perfectly straight lines (“40-Love”, “The Girl with a Bracelet”), Stéphane Demoustier innovates with a light mise en scène by following his own children looking for each other as they’re lost in Paris. This adventure is punctuated by encounters, notably with Anders Danielsen Lie and Vimala Pons, who has become the benevolent ally of an intuitive exploration. A light and radiant family film that feels like an improvised stroll, “Allons enfants” reveals the grace of Paris.

Biography and Filmography
After several short films, Stéphane Demoustier directed his first feature film, “40-Love”, selected at the Venice Film Festival in 2014. A director and a producer, he founded the company Year Zero in 2008 and notably produced “Allons enfants” (2017). His latest feature film, “The Girl with a Bracelet” (2019), revealed actress Mélissa Guers.
