Androids Dream

Shot in 16 mm and square format, Androids Dream is the low-fi adaptation of a science fiction novel, and not just any: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick, which inspired Blade Runner. From then on, two ways of seeing Ion de Sosa's film, because of the duplicity of the Dickian universes : realistic thriller focused on a psychopath and/or science fiction movie interrogating the humanity of its characters, even the most "real" ones. A futuristic documentary or a present science fiction film, that finds an ideal setting within the touristic city of Benidorm.
