The programmer’s eye

Daniel gets out from the youth detention center he spent a few years at and in which he found faith. He is denied access to the seminary but finds a way to practise as the strange priest of a small town parish. Polish director Jan Komasa offers us an ever surprising third feature film.

Biography and Filmography

Jan Komasa was born in Poznan, Poland, and studied at the Lódz Film School. His short film “Nice to See You” (2004) won the third prize in Cannes' Cinéfondation competition. He also directed “Suicide Room” (2011), “Warsaw '44” (2014), and "Corpus Christi" (2019).
