Official synopsis

In the middle of the picture, there’s Thalia, who just turned three years old. She discovers what life is made of, from snails to death. She experiments, evaluates and tastes every flavour that we adults have forgotten. In Thalia's shed, there’s music being composed, images being created, the softness of gestures and countless "Why?".

The programmer’s eye

Directed during lockdown, this intimate but discreet portrait of Thalia and her parents delicately sweeps away the sociological clichés that consider children as candid beings, endowed with an irrational and limited mind. In the impetus of a solitary game or in the improvised words of a ditty, Thalia’s imaginary world emerges and serenely accompanies her towards the world of grown-ups, which is full of promises and absurdities.
