Kalthoum and her girlfriends sip cocktails, look for sex on the internet, impatiently want love and, once again, suffer the transphobic insults of strangers. Today is going to be different though: the four friends are imagining their revenge. A sour film that offers to get revenge from the mundane intolerance in the best possible way: by laughing really hard!
Biography and Filmography
After studying at Paris 8 - where he wrote a dissertation on Magdalena Montezuma - and at the National School of Arts in Paris-Cergy, Alexis Langlois produced “Trinkets and Dark Thoughts” with the G.R.E.C., in which he films revelers and performers from underground Paris. The following year, with the same company, he toured the musical “Your Young Years Will Dry Your Tears”. After “Terror, sisters!”, produced by Les films du Bélier, he directed “The Demons of Dorothy”, which premiered at Locarno in August 2021 and won the Silver Leopard and the Young Jury Grand Prix. He’s currently developing his first feature film, “Les Reines du Drame”, and the burlesque sitcom “Body Positive”, with Les Films du Poisson.
