FRENCH PREMIERE
Jeanne is 24 years old. She lives on a military base with her father, a police officer, and her little brother and sister. She's determined to make it in the world of finance. Not for the glory or wealth, but because it's leading her on the path to freedom.
Biography and Filmography
Héléna Klotz started out at the Théâtre de Chaillot as an Assistant Director and then Sound Designer for Bruno Bayen. In 2003, she directed the medium-length film “Le Léopard ne se déplace jamais sans ses tâches”, selected in Official Competition at Locarno, then the documentary “Les Amants cinéma” (2006) while working on the casting of films by Nicolas Klotz and Katell Quillévéré. Her first feature film, “Atomic Age” (2011) starring Niels Schneider, won several prestigious awards. In 2014, she worked as the Artistic Director for Jacques Audiard’s “Dheepan”, which was awarded the Palme d'Or at Cannes. After “Amour Ocean” (2022), her third short film, she has just finished "Spirit of Ecstasy" her last feature film produced by Les Films du Bélier, and programmed in the Platform selection at Toronto.
