Official synopsis

In Morocco, Adil’s carefree daily life is disrupted by his father, older brother and wife who are returning from France. The young boy has to face the heartbreak triggered by emigration. While Hicham El Guerrouj fights to reach the final of the Olympics, the fate of Adil, without his knowing it, meets that of all the exiles of the world.

Biography and Filmography

Saïd Hamich Benlarbi was born in 1986 in Morocco. He graduated from la Fémis in production. He is the executive producer of several feature films including Clément Cogitore’s “Neither Heaven nor Earth” and Meryem Benm’Barek’s “Sofia”. He has also produced around thirty short films and several feature films including Nabil Ayouch’s “Much Loved” (as a co-producer). His film “Return to Bollene” was awarded the Contrebande Prize at the FIFIB in 2017.
