In Bucharest, Costi, a family man, agrees to follow a neighbor in his quest that is convinced a treasure is buried in the garden of his grandparents. By one of the big names of the current Romanian cinema, The Treasure is both a picaresque hunting topped with subtle humor, a moral tale for adults and children, and a fierce digging into the past of a country.
