Official synopsis
Mathilde Girard records fragments of the lives of three students. Through a narrative structure that resembles that of a series, Marta, Charlotte and Luc discuss who they are, each in their own way, through images and words. A unique film that questions our relationship to the fiction we create about ourselves and the way in which our daily life becomes a substance that can be narrated. “Episodes - Spring 2018” is a personal and accurate portrait of a few youngsters questioning themselves.
Biography and Filmography
A trained philosopher, Mathilde Girard works as a scriptwriter, contributes to the journal “Lignes” and is the author of several books that link philosophy, psychoanalysis, literature and cinema. Her first film, "Episodes - Spring 2018", won the First Feature Award at FID Marseille 2020.
