Official synopsis

Sam Ali is in love. In order to escape the war and join his beloved partner in Belgium, this passionate and impulsive Syrian man accepts to have his back tattooed by one of the world’s most famous and controversial contemporary artists. Once his body has become a prestigious work of art, Sam realizes that his freedom has limits. “The Man Who Sold his Skin” questions individual rights in an unequal system and, more broadly, current geopolitical issues.
