Official synopsis

Charlotte Gainsbourg agrees to play a witch thrown on the stake in the first film directed by Béatrice Dalle. Yet, on the set nothing goes as planned and the shooting turns into chaos. “Lux Æterna” is a visual and sound experience for which Gaspar Noé alone has the secret recipe.

Biography and Filmography

In 1990, Gaspar Noé directed the medium-length film “Carne”, which won the Grand Prix at the Critics’ Week, then his first feature, “I Stand Alone”, which received the same award in 1998. He went on directing “Irreversible” (2001), “Enter the Void” (2010), “Love” (2015), “Climax” (2018) and “Lux ​​Aeterna” (2019), which were all presented at the Cannes Festival, either in official selection or at the Directors’ Fortnight.
