Official synopsis
This machinima portrays Martin's contemporary loneliness thanks to footage extracted from GTA V. The young man wanders in the solitude of a dematerialized universe, the echoes of which explore a very real contemporary melancholy.
Biography and Filmography
Jonathan Vinel graduated from La Fémis in 2015. He both directed and codirected several short films including “As Long as Shotguns Remain” (2014) with Caroline Poggi. The film won the Golden Bear at the Berlinale and the Short Film Competition Prize at the FIFIB. The stooges directed their first feature film, “Jessica Forever”, in 2018.
