The programmer’s eye

Two young sisters are about to leave their beloved island which has become too expensive for their family. Their grief merges into a rageful attitude towards the tourists. With its wrongly innocent holiday film-like aspect, “Massacre” is a cutting critique of the collateral damage of tourism that undermine the social and ecological worlds. Yet teenager fantasies are left unspoilt.
