Nostos Algos

Yorgos, a thirty year old Greek man, lives in Paris for a few years. For his sister's marriage, he has to go to Crete, his native island, where he has not been for a long time. Once there, he discovers that his family, even though wealthy, is very indebted and has to sell the family house. Yorgos refuses this situation. Contemporary Greece in economic crisis is here the Greece of the origins of Europe, to which it is impossible to get back to, and the country, struck by the Balkan curse, has to be left behind.
