Four life moments in four life stories. A young girl in the countryside. A teenager who keeps running away, from one man to the other. A young woman who moves to Paris. The accomplished woman at last, who thought she got away from her past. These characters form one magnificent protagonist, played by different actresses who share the same magnetism. The radiant demonstration that a singular character is also plural. The ideal closing film, starring Adèle Haenel (we’re coming full circle here, since she was the muse of our first edition), to end with a whirlwind of emotions that will make us feel like the orphans of the festival.
