Official synopsis
Jean is a "slow" man, he builds his life around his anxieties, and considers himself unsuited to life in society. He lives with Alex, who’s a "fast" man. Passionate about aerodynamics and eurodance, Alex lives fast and asks himself as few questions as possible. One morning, he receives a “fast” friend, Lou, at their place, while Jean had also planned to receive a “slow” friend, Caroline.

Why should one collapse under the languor of a summer, take refuge in the warm comfort of a café, indulge in the softness of a sheet, when time is speeding up, when our pulse is going out of control, when information is escaping us, when the future and Eurodance are already in the past? It's all a matter of pace: “FAST” is a vitaminized and hyperglycemic boost, an impetuous look at a romance in its "already there" status. And because “FAST” offers such great conversation, we'll long be discussing the nerve of a film that, in the interstices of its speed, convinces us of the virtues of slowness.

Biography and Filmography
Paul Rigoux grew up in Bordeaux, where he studied law. He then joined the Distribution department of the Fémis. In parallel to his studies, he directed his first short film with fellow students; “Thus Began Antoine’s Down-going” (2021) was selected in more than twenty festivals. Paul then won the GREC Screenplay Competition, which allowed him to direct his second film, “FAST” (2022).
