Official synopsis
In a house lost in the middle of the woods, on the edge of a lake, a group makes up an ephemeral Eden. Between mere moments of life and cathartic rites, they grow together, be it only for the short duration of a ritual.

“A Third Testament” is a documentary filmed by its protagonists in an instinctive and spontaneous gesture, with the will to expose the simple beauty of things: bodies are stripped naked and devote themselves to the tribal and nocturnal games initiated by the she-wolf and her cubs. They abandon all contemporary signs or objects in favour of a return to manual skills, aiming at a reversal of established structures and rules. Plunging into a wild state of self-discovery and discovery of others, the group becomes a pack and reveals a buried animal consciousness.

Biography and Filmography
Jérôme Clément-Wilz has a wide range of skills: a former lumberjack, he is a graduate of Berkeley, Sciences Po Paris and Paris VIII. He has been an assistant director for fiction, documentaries and reports. He has also worked as a cinematographer and director. His projects have taken him to more than twenty countries – mostly to tackle "social" themes – as well as in conflict zones. For Paris Première, he directed a world tour on the topics of gender and sexuality. He is also interested in exploring parenthood, alcoholism, the relationship with religion...
