Official synopsis

An international auditor arrives in a small, self-proclaimed republic in Caucasus to assess the opening of its airport. Discussing with the locals from Karabakh and a mysterious child, Alain discovers a new world and ends up risking everything to help them. In “Should the Wind Fall”, Nora Martirosyan gives an equal place to characters and landscapes. The film offers a great sense of humanity and highlights the talent of actor Grégoire Colin.

Biography and Filmography

After studying at Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts in Armenia, Nora Martirosyan graduated from the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam and from Fresnoy. She splits her time between teaching cinema and video and directing films. The latter have won her awards at film festivals like Belfort and FID Marseille. “Si le vent tombe” is her first feature film.
